Fidget house is a style of house music that is "defined by snatched vocal snippets, pitch-bent basslines and rave-style synth stabs over glitchy 4/4 beats."[1] Fidget house incorporates bassline house, electro, techno, breakbeat, Chicago house, rave, UK garage, US hip-hop, Baltimore club, and Kuduro.
Artists of the genre include: Hervé, Defunct!, Crookers, Switch, The Bloody Beetroots, and Leko.
History
The term fidget house was coined by DJ/producers Jesse Rose and Switch, "as a joke, which has now gone a little too far."

't Is wel zo dat, Jesse Rose wordt geclaimt als één van de headers van Fidget en dat niet afwijst !
Verder is het wel een feit, hoewel ik zelf ook 'fidget' draai, dat het téveel een hype wordt en de muziek afgezaagd wordt :/
